X-100f with a ’70s mask

I love the mid-late 1970s film emulsion dye fading. Since many of the photographs that make up my visual memory of growing up contain this weird shift, I have always been fascinated with recreating this shifted toward orange look. here’s what a stupid AI thing says about this

On a recent walk in the snowy woods, I brought my X-100f and paired it with an orangish shifted simulation recipe that is listed below.

  • ISO: 800
  • Dynamic Range: Auto
  • Film Simulation: Astia Soft
  • White Balance: 7700K – R4 B7
  • Color: -3
  • Sharpness: -2
  • Highlight: 1
  • Shadow: -2
  • Noise Reduction: -4
  • Grain Effect: Off

These are the photos I made. Nothing super special really. But that hazy shifted color really makes me think about all of those old family photos I grew up in.
